Hi cuties,
I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA. It’s been a busy season of life. Let’s catch up.
One of the best things I did this month was participate in vlogmas (kind of). If you don’t know what vlogmas is, it’s basically the idea of uploading a daily vlog every day of December leading up to Christmas. Now, I knew better than to commit to 24 vlogs in one month during the busiest work month of the year. So, I decided to do the first 12 days. I figured that the beginning of the month would make the most sense so that I could capture viewers later in the month who were looking for some vlogmas content to consume. Vlogmas was started by OG YouTube Ingrid Nilsen, and many other creators have done it, but it is pretty intense, so I don’t see as many YouTube creators doing it these days. TBH, it was so fun and not really that hard. I think because it was a priority for me, AND I stayed healthy throughout it (IYKYK), I was able to pull it off. It also really helped me get into the festive spirit. It actually felt more like Christmas at the beginning of this month vs. right now, which I need to fix pronto.
A few quick updates:
I’ve been settling into my new role at work. I’ve learned a lot, and I still have so much to learn, but it’s been awesome.
I’m on track to invest $20,000 this year, which I am so proud of. I talk more about how I did this in my latest What I Spend in a Month video.
This year has been full of ups and downs, but I’m really hopeful for 2024. Planning begins now!!!
